HOLE 4 INFORMATION
The 4th hole is the first of two par 5’s at Hervey Bay. The 4th hole is a dogleg to the left. The fairway has a large landing zone for both the tee shots and the second shot. The approach shot to the green is made difficult by the upturned bowl shape of the green, making it extremely difficult to get the ball to stay on the green.
For longer hitters there’s an opportunity to hit the ball through the corner opening up the possibility of a two putt birdie. To take advantage of this tee shots need to be left hand side of fairway and just short of the corner.
Shorter hitters are better off being middle to right side of fairway so they can take full advantage of their second shot without having to worry about trees.
